Lisa Bond
Lisa is AYC’s Operations Manager and Designated Safeguarding Lead, overseeing the development and day-to-day running of our services, supporting our teams and ensuring high standards of quality, safeguarding and person-centred care.
Lisa brings over 30 years of experience across health and social care, advocacy, safeguarding, training and service development. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with individuals, families, professionals and organisations, championing people’s rights, promoting inclusion and developing services that are responsive to individual needs.
As Operations Manager and Designated Safeguarding Lead, Lisa oversees the day-to-day running and development of AYC’s services, supporting our clinical and administrative teams, recruitment, safeguarding, quality assurance and organisational policies and procedures. She is committed to ensuring that our services are well organised, safe and supportive for everyone who accesses them.
Lisa has particular expertise in autism, learning disabilities, person-centred approaches and trauma-informed practice. Her professional experience, alongside her own lived experience of ADHD and autism and as a parent of neurodivergent children, gives her a valuable understanding of the challenges individuals and families can face when seeking assessment and support.
Warm, practical and approachable, Lisa is passionate about ensuring that AYC remains a compassionate, neuro-affirmative and values-led service, where individuals and families feel listened to, respected and understood.
