Jacqui Brett

Jacqui Brett is a Highly Specialist HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist, Neurodevelopmental Diagnostician and Sensory Integration Practitioner.

Jacqui’s experience spans NHS adult community mental health, clinical leadership in inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, and multidisciplinary assessment and diagnosis of autism, ADHD and dyspraxia. As Clinical Lead at the Dyspraxia Centre of Excellence, she had responsibility for developing the clinical pathway and supporting resources.

Her professional interests include sensory processing, mental health, the overlap between neurodevelopmental conditions, and the impact of these differences on everyday life. She brings a neuro-affirming and trauma-informed approach, considering each person’s strengths, experiences and environment alongside their support needs.

Jacqui is neurodivergent and a mother of two neurodivergent children. This lived experience informs her understanding of the effort that can sit beneath apparent coping, and the importance of being heard, understood and appropriately supported. She is passionate about helping individuals and families build self-understanding, make informed choices and access support that enables meaningful participation.
