Claire Lewis is an Assistant Psychologist and Neurodevelopmental Practitioner with extensive experience supporting neurodiverse individuals.
Claire previously held the position of Lead Neurodiversity Specialist Assistant Psychologist at The ADHD Foundation, where she worked in the Neurodiversity Clinic, conducting ADHD assessments and providing tailored support to individuals, families, and professionals. During her time there, Claire also contributed to the therapy and academic departments, sat on the organisation’s Internal Governance Committee, and was a member of the management team for national research projects focused on neurodiversity, emotional regulation, and mental health.
Claire has collaborated with organisations such as the NSPCC and The Witherslack Group, advising on ADHD content and contributing to the development of online resources. She has delivered psychoeducational coaching for individuals with ADHD and has created and delivered training programs for families, schools, and professionals to promote greater understanding of ADHD and associated conditions.
In addition to her clinical work, Claire served as an Associate Tutor at Warwick Medical School, where she supported the development of future healthcare professionals. Her professional interests lie in the neurobiology of neurodevelopmental and mental health conditions, the impact of trauma, and the intersection of psychological and physical health.
Driven by a passion for reducing health and social inequalities, Claire brings both professional expertise and lived experience to her role. As a mother of three neurodiverse children, she combines evidence-based practice with a deep, empathetic understanding of the everyday realities faced by families navigating neurodiversity.
