Jenny has over 20 years’ experience of working with disadvantaged or disaffected learners, identifying and helping to overcome barriers to learning.  After working as a learning mentor in three different secondary schools, she spent 14 years working with Children Looked After

Jenny has over 20 years’ experience of working with disadvantaged or disaffected learners, identifying and helping to overcome barriers to learning.  After working as a learning mentor in three different secondary schools, she spent 14 years working with Children Looked After through two Virtual Schools.  In her last Virtual School, she held the position of Deputy Virtual Head.  Through her Virtual School work, Jenny has significant experience working 1:1 with children and young people and with a variety of professionals to support the implementation of effective education plans.  She regularly delivered training to professionals and devised policies and procedures to ensure the best support for these vulnerable learners.

Jenny has a Masters in Inclusive Education and successfully completed the Post Graduate Conversion Certificate in Psychology.  She is now undertaking the Doctorate in Child and Educational Psychology.
